Bridewell Gardaí were on duty this morning at the 1916 Leaders Commemoration ceremony held at Arbour Hill, Dublin.
The event honoured the memory of the leaders of the 1916 Easter Rising, with dignitaries and representatives from across Irish society in attendance.

Members of the Garda Dog Unit joined the Bridewell officers, along with the Deputy President, families of the 1916 leaders, Civil Defence, United Nations associations, and other external agencies.

The annual ceremony is a poignant reminder of Ireland’s struggle for independence, and today’s gathering highlighted a strong collaboration between state agencies, civil society, and the community.
Security at the event was carefully coordinated to ensure a respectful and safe commemoration for all attendees.
