Fugitive Wanted After Knife Attack and Court No-Show

The violent assault happened on 26 December 2021 in Truman Close, St Ann’s, leaving the victim with permanent facial scars from a large knife slash. Simpson faces charges including grievous bodily harm with intent, possession of a knife in public, and malicious wounding.

Simpson also skipped Nottingham Crown Court on 9 August 2024, piling on the pressure to find him fast.

Detective Chief Inspector Sam Austin said: “We believe Simpson is lying low and knows we are hunting him. Anyone who knows where he is, or who might be harbouring him, must step forward now. Helping an offender is a serious criminal offence.”

DCI Austin added, “Simpson’s violent attack left a victim traumatised. We won’t stop until justice is done.”
