Wallasey Man Jailed for Hoarding Shocking Child Sex Images

Andrew Davies, 52, from Wallasey, has been locked up for nearly four years after being caught with hundreds of explicit child images in blatant defiance of a Sexual Harm Prevention Order.

Routine Check Uncovers Shocking Breach

Police found Davies breaking the law during a raid in November last year. Officers discovered he was using social media, which his court order strictly forbids. When they seized his devices, an investigation uncovered 133 illegal and disturbing child sex images.

Blame Game Fails to Save Davies

Davies tried to pin the blame on his family, claiming they downloaded the images. Detective Inspector Steven O’Neill smashed those excuses, confirming Davies was solely responsible. Davies was convicted on all 133 counts plus nine breaches of his Sexual Harm Prevention Order.

Sex Offender Unit on High Alert

Detective Inspector O’Neill praised the team’s diligence, highlighting their relentless work to keep the public safe from offenders like Davies. “We will continue to clamp down hard on anyone who breaks these critical protection orders,” he said.
