Man Attacked in Somerset Road at 2am – Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward

A man was assaulted in the early hours of Friday, 17 December on Somerset Road. Around 2am, the victim was approached by an unknown attacker who demanded his belongings.

During the scuffle, the victim sustained an eye injury requiring hospital treatment. Luckily, no items were stolen in the incident.

Police Struggle for Suspect Details

PC Danny Holloway, leading the investigation, said: “The victim is currently unable to provide a description of the suspect. We know details are scarce, but anyone who was nearby or spotted anything suspicious should come forward.”

He added: “CCTV footage from the area could be crucial in cracking this case.”
