Four Men Attack with Knife at Jackson’s Field
A gang of four men, one brandishing a knife, struck at around 8pm on Saturday, 26 March 2022, near Jackson’s Field off City Way. They targeted two men, stealing a mobile phone and wallet in a quick heist.
Victim Fights Back, Knife Taken Away
One victim bravely wrestled the knife from a suspect, forcing the gang to flee the scene. Thankfully, all men involved, believed to be in their 20s, escaped serious injury.
Kent Police Make Arrest, Appeal for Witnesses
Kent Police arrived swiftly, seizing the knife used in the robbery. They arrested a 21-year-old man from Chatham on suspicion of robbery the same night. He’s now released on bail until 21 April while investigations continue.
