Shock in Dagenham: Two Young Children Found Dead
Detectives have launched a murder probe after two young boys were found dead at a home in Dagenham.
Woman Arrested and Charged
Kara Alexander, 44, from Cornwallis Road, was arrested on Friday, 16 December. On Monday, 19 December, she was charged with two counts of murder. She is set to appear at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, 20 December.
Tragic Discovery at Cornwallis Road
- Emergency services rushed to the scene just after 2pm on 16 December.
- They found the bodies of a two-year-old boy and a five-year-old boy at the residence.
- Both children were pronounced dead at the scene.
Family Informed and Supported
The boys’ family have been informed and are receiving support from specialist officers. Post-mortems and formal identification procedures will follow in due course as the investigation continues.
