Authorities have dropped suspicion over a woman’s death in Peacehaven after a detailed investigation.
Man Released as Police Clear Woman’s Death
At first, a 40-year-old man was arrested in connection with the death. But after a thorough probe by specialist officers, police now say there’s nothing suspicious about the case. The man has been released without charge.

Detective Inspector Mors Lambert said: “Our thoughts are with Amy’s family and friends during this incredibly difficult time.”
He added: “Initially, Amy’s death was treated as suspicious based on early information, but further investigations have shown this is not the case.”
Investigation Concludes, Coroner to Review
Lambert continued: “It’s crucial we fully understand the circumstances surrounding Amy’s death. We thank everyone who provided information to aid our inquiries. A file will now be prepared for the Coroner.”
