Woman Jailed Over Brutal Stabbing in Bracknell

Alison Dean Locked Up for 5 Years 6 Months

Alison Dean, 27, from Haversham Drive, Bracknell, is behind bars for a vicious stabbing attack. She was sentenced to five years and six months in prison after being found guilty of grievous bodily harm and perverting the course of justice at Reading Crown Court.

Stabbing Left Victim Fighting for Life

The horrific attack happened on 10 May this year. Dean stabbed a man in his forties multiple times — inflicting wounds on his chest, back, abdomen, and even slashing his fingers. The victim needed surgery to treat his serious injuries.

Police Say Justice Served

Dean was arrested the same day and charged on 20 May. Detective Constable Alexandra Brooke from Windsor police station said:

“This was a violent attack on the victim, which led to him requiring surgery for his injuries. I hope that Dean’s sentence demonstrates that we take such violent assaults very seriously and will always investigate these incidents thoroughly.”
