Woman Critically Injured in Brutal Axe Attack in Ilford
Detectives are hunting witnesses after a horrifying axe attack left a 53-year-old woman fighting for her life in Ilford.
Attack Sparks Emergency Response
The alarm was raised at 2.08pm when the London Ambulance Service called police to a residential address on Princes Road. Officers and paramedics rushed to the scene, finding the woman seriously wounded.
She was treated on-site before being rushed to hospital, where she remains in critical condition.
Police Seek Dashcam Footage and Witnesses
Detective Inspector Sean Treweek is leading the probe. He urges anyone with information or dashcam footage from Princes Road, Dukes Road, or Crown Road on Friday afternoon to come forward.

Suspect in Custody
