Tragic Death of Vijay Kumar Shakes Worcester
Worcester was rocked on Tuesday, 25 November, after Vijay Kumar was found seriously injured on Barbourne Road. Despite emergency hospital treatment, Vijay sadly died later that day.

Vijay’s family remembered him as a beacon of joy and warmth. “Vijay brought energy, laughter, and filled our lives with light. Life was never dull with him around. Even in tough times, his spirit was unbreakable — he lived with purpose, passion, and heart.”
They added, “Behind every gesture was a heart that cared deeply for family and friends. He showed his love in small acts, shared glances, and unexpected kindness.”
Though his life was tragically cut short, his family said their time together was filled with meaning. “His death has left us devastated and created a huge void. Saying goodbye to such a loving family member is one of life’s hardest moments. We will cherish Vijay’s memory in every story we tell and every love we share.”
Five Men Arrested and on Bail Over Murder
Police have arrested five men on suspicion of murder in connection with Vijay’s death. All five are currently on bail as the investigation continues.
