Young Girl Trapped in Gosport Lift Saved by Firefighters
Fire crews rushed to a block of flats in Gosport after a lift got stuck with a young girl inside.
Lift Jammed Between Floors at Garland Court
On Monday evening (23rd May), two fire crews were called to Garland Court on Forton Road. A nine-year-old girl was trapped in a lift stuck between two floors in the ten-storey building.
Brave Rescue After 30 Minutes Trapped
The youngster remained calm during the ordeal, even though she was stuck for about half an hour. Firefighters used specialist tools to pry open the lift doors and free her safely.
Shaken But Unharmed
Thankfully, the girl was unharmed despite the scary experience. Emergency crews praised her calmness throughout the rescue.
