Child Injured as Silver Estate Flee Hit-and-Run at Busy Havant Roundabout

Hampshire Roads Policing officers in Havant are hunting witnesses after a 12-year-old boy was hurt in a hit-and-run collision on a busy Purbrook Way roundabout.

Boy Suffers Head Injury

The crash happened between 5.12pm and 5.22pm on Saturday, 2 December, at the roundabout linking Stockheath Lane, Stockheath Road, Bedhampton Way, and Dunsbury Way. The boy suffered a cut to his head, plus grazes and bruises.

Driver Flees Scene Without Details

The driver, described as a white man with a beard, initially stopped to check on the boy but then sped off without sharing any details. There were reportedly two children in the car at the time.

Police Urge Driver and Witnesses to Come Forward

PC Andrew Hector said: “We want to identify the car and speak with the driver to get to the bottom of what happened. If this was you or you know who’s involved, call us straight away.”
