Knife-Wielding Teens Launch Stabbing Spree on Worthing Seafront

Teens Chase Victim Along Packed Promenade

Police are on the hunt after a stabbing incident rocked Worthing seafront this afternoon (Tuesday, October 1). Around 1:17pm, officers were called to Marine Parade when three teens – one brandishing a knife – were seen chasing another youngster along the busy promenade.

An 18-year-old man was slashed in the hand during the attack. Passersby quickly came to his aid before he was rushed to hospital, where medics confirmed his injuries are not life-threatening.

The trio made off heading west along Marine Parade. Witnesses describe the suspects as white males clad in black hoodies.

Police Launch Urgent Appeal for Witnesses

A spokesperson from Worthing CID said: “We are in the early stages of our investigation and urgently need anyone with information to come forward. If you saw the incident or noticed anything suspicious around that time, please contact us immediately.”

They urged witnesses to call 101 or report online quoting serial 615 of 01/10. Tips can also be given confidentially through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or at www.crimestoppers-uk.org. Police are particularly keen to review dashcam or mobile footage from the area.
