£27K Bronze Statues Stolen in Canterbury Garden Raid

Bronze statues valued at over £27,000 have been stolen from a private garden in Canterbury. The daring theft took place overnight between 11 and 12 February 2019 in St Lawrence Forstal.

Unique Statues Snatched

Thieves made off with three life-size bronze statues, each standing around 2ft 5ins tall. These one-of-a-kind figures were specially commissioned by the owner, making them irreplaceable. In addition, a 1ft tall bronze Buddha statue, coloured in typical bronze hue, was also taken.

Police Appeal for Leads

Officers are actively investigating the burglary and urging anyone with information to get in touch. Call the police on 01843 222289 quoting reference 46/38004/19.
