Emergency services rushed to the A40 in Westbourne Park at 3:17am on Monday, 13 May, after a horrifying crash between a lorry and a BMW.
19-Year-Old Passenger Dies at Scene
Despite efforts from London Ambulance Service, London’s Air Ambulance, and the Fire Brigade, a 19-year-old male passenger was pronounced dead at the scene. His family has been informed.
Driver Arrested and Released on Bail
The 21-year-old BMW driver was hospitalized and arrested on suspicion of causing death while driving an uninsured aggravated vehicle. He has since been released on bail, due to return in July. No further arrests have been made.
Police Seek Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
Officers urge anyone who saw the crash or has dashcam footage to call 101, quoting reference CAD 788/13 Jun.
