Fake Cop Car Sparks Chaos in Farnborough Crash
Police were called after a vehicle posing as a police car, complete with blue lights, was spotted at the scene of a crash on Invincible Road, Farnborough. The incident unfolded around 5.35pm on Tuesday, December 6.
Crash Leads to Suspected Robbery Attempt
The collision involved a Land Rover and a van. Two men got out of the Land Rover and tried, but failed, to break into the Peugeot van. Authorities found cannabis inside the van during the investigation.
Damage Mounts at B&Q Car Park
Elsewhere in the car park, another vehicle suffered damage. A window of the nearby B&Q store was smashed, and several bollards were also hit.
Arrest Made as Police Probe Continues
“Officers investigating an incident at the B&Q car park in Farnborough on Tuesday, December 6 have made an arrest,” said a Hampshire Constabulary spokesman. “A 31-year-old man from Aldershot has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. He was released under investigation, and our investigations are ongoing.”
