Late Night Collision Shuts Down Key Road
A fatal smash involving a silver Ford Fiesta brought Causeyside Street to a standstill at around 10:15pm on Saturday, 11 March 2023. Authorities shut the road for over six hours to carry out a full collision probe, reopening it at 5am the next morning.
Police Appeal for Crucial Witnesses
Sergeant Christopher Hoggans expressed sympathy for the victim’s loved ones. “Our thoughts remain with Stuart’s family and friends at this difficult time,” he said.
Officers are urgently searching for the drivers of a red Ford Fiesta and a silver estate car, possibly a taxi, who may have witnessed the crash. Sgt Hoggans added: “If you have dash cam footage or private CCTV that could help, please get in touch.”
