Woman Injured in Shocking Aldershot Robbery

Police are hunting witnesses after a brazen handbag snatch left a 55-year-old woman injured in Aldershot town centre. The robbery happened between 11.30am and midday on Friday 6 November near the Queens Road and Victoria Road junction.

Victim Hurt During Dash for Escape

The woman was grabbed by a man who yanked her handbag and ran off. In the struggle, she fell and fractured her shoulder, needing hospital treatment. Her bag was small, brown and cream with two handles and a zip. Inside was a brown zip purse decorated with flowers, plus cash and a bank card.

Police Seek Two Men Linked to Incident

  • Man One: Slight build, black jacket and trousers, tan shoes, carrying an item in his right hand.
  • Man Two: Large build, light blue top with black hood covering head, light bottoms, black shoes with white sections.

Detective Constable Jonathan Duggan urged, “We want anyone who saw these men or the incident to come forward. Even small details could help us catch them.”
