Police Hunt Battery Bandit Targeting Ashford Traffic Lights

Kent Police are on the lookout after four batteries vanished from temporary traffic lights in Ashford.

Theft Hits Hythe Road

The incident went down at around 12.45pm on Wednesday, 8 July 2020, in Willesborough’s Hythe Road. Someone swiped the batteries right off the temporary traffic lights, causing a right bother for motorists and authorities.

CCTV Captures Suspect

Officers have released a CCTV snap of a man they want to have a chat with regarding the theft. He could hold the key to cracking the case.
