Early Morning Burglar Threatens Family in Shocking Kent Break-In

Kent Police were called to a home on Cannon Street after a break-in between 4.15am and 4.25am on Saturday, 17 December 2022.

The occupants woke to find an intruder inside. When confronted, the man threatened to harm them unless they handed over the house keys. A struggle broke out before the thief escaped through a window. During the ordeal, a woman was punched. Thankfully, nothing was reported stolen.

Police Release E-Fit and Appeal for Help

Police want to hear from anyone who recognises the suspect or has information about the burglary. The offender was dressed in light-coloured trousers, a dark fleece, and a light coat. He wore a dark balaclava, which came off during the incident.
