Four masked thugs attack on Gamble Street

On Tuesday night, around 7.30pm, a man was savagely attacked on Nottingham’s Gamble Street. Four men targeted the victim, trying to snatch his moped. The gang repeatedly punched him in the head before one brandished a blade.

Stolen moped and house keys taken during struggle

In the chaos, one attacker grabbed the victim’s moped and house keys. Just as things looked darkest, a passing car spooked the crooks, who sped off on mopeds or motorbikes heading towards Alfreton Road.

Police hunt thugs and appeal for witnesses

Detective Sergeant Andy Buxton said: “The victim was left shaken and confused – it must have been terrifying for him. We won’t stand for attacks like this on hard-working locals.”

Buxton urged anyone who saw the robbery or has dash-cam footage to come forward. “This is a busy area – someone may have key information that could help us track down these offenders.”
