Police Crack Down on Illegal Rave in Theydon Bois
Law enforcement has slapped a dispersal order on an illegal rave raging in a field off Forest Drive, Theydon Bois, tonight, Saturday 11 July.
Hundreds flocked to the site around 10pm, sparking concerns over safety and public disorder.
Dispersal Order Active Until Sunday Morning
The order kicks in from 11pm tonight until 11am tomorrow, Sunday 12 July. Officers now have the power to clear the area and stop anyone returning during this time.
This measure aims to prevent harassment, alarm, distress, and potential crime linked to the unauthorised event.
Warning: Don’t Turn Up, It’s Not Worth the Risk
Police urge anyone considering heading to the rave to think again. Unlicensed gatherings put lives at risk and break current government rules limiting large crowds.
“These events are a danger to public health and safety,” an officer warned.
