A huge sinkhole, around 25 feet deep, has opened up on Martens Avenue near Old Road in Bexleyheath. The gaping hole has already swallowed a motorbike, causing chaos in the area.

Police and fire crews were quickly dispatched to the site to manage the situation. The road has been shut off in both directions as teams work to secure the area and prevent further accidents.
