Man Busted After Brutal Brawl in Sainsbury’s Car Park

Police officers heard a ruckus at the Sainsbury’s car park on Tofts Walk at 10.25pm last Saturday, 17 October. They gave chase and caught a suspect linked to a savage assault.

Suspect Nabbed for Serious Assault and Drug Offences

The 30-year-old man, with no fixed address, was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm, carrying an offensive weapon, and possession with intent to supply drugs. He remains in custody for questioning.

Victim Suffers Multiple Facial Fractures

The victim, a 33-year-old local man, was left with a broken nose, jaw, and cheekbones. Thankfully, his injuries are not life-threatening.

Police Urge Witnesses to Speak Up
