Three Women Arrested in Major Fraud and Dog Theft Bust
Three women aged 20, 23, and 30 have been arrested over fraud offences linked to a large-scale dog theft probe. A total of 26 dogs were seized from the site amid serious animal welfare concerns and suspicion they were stolen.
Dogs Under Vet Care as Ownership Mystery Continues
Each dog was examined on location by a vet and is now receiving ongoing medical treatment. Authorities are working hard to trace the rightful owners through microchip checks and further enquiries.
Stolen Cars, Caravans and Trailer Recovered
Police also uncovered three stolen caravans, two stolen vehicles, and a stolen trailer at the scene. Investigation teams are contacting lawful owners as enquiries continue.
Police Vow to Crack Down on Crime in Epsom
Inspector Jon Vale, Borough Commander for Epsom and Ewell, said: “This was a highly successful operation, with several animals and vehicles recovered. I hope that today’s result, and the investigation that follows it, will reassure our partners and the public that we will not tolerate criminal activity in Epsom.”
