Tragic Port Accident Claims Life of Beloved Lorry Driver
Michael Abrahams, 50, from Harwich, died after a collision with a lorry in a port parking area on 26 November. The victim, known affectionately as “Panda” by his friends, was loved for his caring nature and sense of humour.
‘Mick Was a Loving Husband and Father’
“Mick was a loving, caring and hardworking father and husband,” said his wife Star. “He always found a way to make people around him laugh. He worked most of his life as a lorry driver and absolutely loved his job.”
Star added, “We will honour him in the way he lived his life—full on!”
Family Thanks Supporters, Calls for Witnesses
The family has launched a fundraiser to help cover funeral costs. Star expressed gratitude to friends and colleagues, saying, “A massive thank you to everyone supporting us, especially Martin Reeves, Mandy Scott, and his boss Helen Macklin.”
