Just after 10am on Friday, 23 July, a collision between a silver Vauxhall Vectra and a cyclist rocked the B3400 road from Andover to Hurstbourne Priors.
Cyclist Dies After Air Ambulance Rush
James “Jim” Tassell, 70, from Barlows Lane, Andover, was airlifted to Southampton General Hospital but sadly died from his injuries on Wednesday, 28 July.
Driver Arrested but Released Under Investigation
The driver, an 81-year-old man from Whitchurch, was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving. He’s now been released while police continue their enquiries.
