Tragic Blaze Claims Life of 32-Year-Old in Tunstall

Nathan Shaw, 32, has died following a fire at a home on Knight Street, Tunstall. Emergency crews rushed to the scene just after 11.30pm on Monday, 23 November. Nathan’s death was confirmed on 25 November.

Police Launch Urgent Appeal for Witnesses

Detective Inspector Beverley Matthews said: “An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the fire is ongoing. Specialist officers are supporting Nathan’s family at this difficult time.”

She added: “We urgently need anyone with CCTV or dash-cam footage from Knight Street and nearby areas around the time of the fire to come forward.”

Three Released After Initial Arrests

A 36-year-old man and two women, aged 20 and 41, were initially arrested on suspicion of attempted murder but have now been released under investigation as inquiries continue.
