Teen Arrested After Daylight Murder in Nottingham City Centre
A 17-year-old was arrested within minutes following a shocking murder on Milton Street in Nottingham city centre at around 1.15pm today (Monday 12 October). The teenager is now in police custody and facing murder inquiries.
Police Hunt Others Involved – Milton Street Remains Closed
Officers are still investigating whether others took part in the violent incident. Milton Street, between Shakespeare Street and Lower Parliament Street, remains shut as detectives comb the scene and gather evidence.
Detective Pleads for Witnesses to Come Forward
“Our thoughts are with the family and friends of this young man, who has sadly died,” said Detective Inspector Steve Wragg.
“This tragic attack happened in broad daylight and in front of city centre shoppers. We’ve launched a murder investigation and a team of detectives is working round the clock to find out what happened and who is to blame.
“Violence impacts so many lives – victims, families, friends, entire communities. That’s why I’m urging anyone who saw something to come forward and help deliver justice.
