A reckless truck driver pulled dangerous stunts, nearly causing crashes before smashing into an unmarked police car in a high-speed reverse and making a desperate getaway.
Police Helicopter Helps Nab Fleeing Suspects
Multiple police units teamed up, with a helicopter spotlighting the suspects. Two occupants were soon caught hiding in nearby woodland after a frantic foot chase.
“This driver showed a complete disregard for the safety of other road users, police officers, the public or himself,” said Sergeant Neil Haynes of Nottinghamshire Police’s road crime team.
“He pulled dangerous manoeuvres, ramming police cars and intimidating others to try to escape.”
“Thanks to our dedicated officers, we stopped his reckless driving, cuffed him, and hauled him to justice.”
