Man Arrested After Early Morning Sexual Assault Near Commercial Road
Police swooped at around 4.45am on Saturday following reports of a sexual assault near Commercial Road in Swindon.
Suspect Detained and Area Cordoned Off
A man in his twenties was arrested and taken to Gablecross police station for questioning. Officers have sealed off the Commercial Road area as the serious investigation continues.
Wiltshire Police Appeal for Witnesses
A Wiltshire Police spokeswoman said: “A man in his 20s has been arrested in connection with the incident and remains in custody in Gablecross for questioning. Enquiries are ongoing, and a cordon remains in place while detectives investigate.”
