Major Crime Team Swings Into Action
The Major Crime Investigation Team is leading the charge with support from CID, Operational Support, Intelligence, and Forensics. Their mission? To hunt down every culprit behind the mayhem.

She added: “The public’s support has been incredible, and we’re grateful for every tip and piece of evidence sent in.”
Police Call for Public Help to ID Rioters
The force has already gathered swathes of digital evidence, including CCTV, body cam footage, social media videos, and photos from witnesses.
To boost the hunt, police have launched a dedicated online portal where members of the public can upload any footage or images from the unrest: Submit your evidence here.
“We expect to release images of suspects soon and are confident more arrests are on the horizon. For those involved – expect a knock at your door,” warned Det Chief Supt Belafonte.
Forensic teams have already scoured the scene, recovering fingerprints and other vital clues. The investigation is expected to drag on, but police vow to pursue every single offender.
