Fatal Crash on Dartmouth Road

Emergency crews rushed to Dartmouth Road on Saturday night after a grey Porsche smashed into a Toyota. Despite the swift response, the toddler was tragically pronounced dead at hospital.

  • A 29-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man remain in critical condition, fighting for their lives.
  • Two other adults, a 30-year-old man and woman, are stable but injured.

Stolen Porsche Linked to Deadly Collision

West Midlands Police confirmed the Porsche was reported stolen earlier this month. The crash happened as the Toyota was exiting a roundabout on Kenrick Way. The Porsche driver fled, leaving devastation behind.

Police Launch Urgent Appeal and Manhunt

Detective Sergeant Paul Hughes of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit urged the driver to come forward:

“Our thoughts remain with the family of the little boy at this extremely difficult time. I urge the driver of the Porsche to do the right thing and come forward. Running away was the wrong decision; now is the time to make the right one.”

He added, “If you witnessed the collision or have CCTV or dash-cam footage, please contact us immediately.”

Witnesses Asked to Speak Out

Police closed Dartmouth Road overnight but have since reopened it. The search for the suspect continues.
