Tragic Death as Pedestrian Fatally Hit on Busy Hounslow Road
Emergency Services Rush to Scene
Police were called at 2.28pm on Friday, 12 January after reports of a collision between a car and a pedestrian on the A4 at the junction with Springwell Road, Hounslow. London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance quickly responded, with officers also attending the scene.
Victim Pronounced Dead on Site
Despite the best efforts of emergency crews, the man, believed to be in his 60s, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are currently working to notify his next of kin.
No Arrests, Witnesses Urged to Come Forward
So far, no arrests have been made. Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage capturing the moments leading up to it to contact them. Witnesses should call 101 quoting reference CAD 3609/12 Jan.
