Thieves Swipe Hydraulic Gear from Leicester Fire Station

Police are hunting burglars after hydraulic cutting equipment was stolen from a Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service building in Leicester.

The break-in happened around 11:40pm on Tuesday, 30 April, at the central fire station on Lancaster Road. Thieves forced a door and nicked Lukas battery-operated hydraulic cutters.

Suspects Flee in Waiting Getaway Car

The crook was spooked during the raid and bolted to a car parked nearby, driven by an accomplice.

Police Urge Witnesses to Speak Up

  • Did you spot anyone acting suspiciously or rushing towards a waiting vehicle?
  • Have you seen anyone with similar stolen hydraulic gear?

Officers want to hear from anyone with info. Contact PC 1908 Navekar on 101 and quote crime number 19*220178.
