Police Hunt Burglar After Garage Raid in Amesbury

Officers are on the lookout for witnesses following a spate of garage break-ins in Amesbury. The raids happened early Friday, November 11, with thieves making off with thousands of pounds worth of tools.

Suspect Nabbed After Tool Theft Spree

A resident reported the break-ins just after 7am on McQueen Walk. Police quickly launched inquiries and found a vehicle believed to be linked to the burglaries in Salisbury’s Roman Road area.

A man in his 30s from Bemerton Heath was arrested on suspicion of non-dwelling burglary. He has since been released on bail as investigations continue.

Police Appeal for CCTV and Witnesses

Police are urging anyone in the Larkhill and surrounding areas to check their CCTV, doorbell cameras, or dashcams for any footage from Thursday night into Friday morning.

They also want to hear from anyone who saw or heard suspicious activity overnight on November 10-11.
