Armed Police and Helicopter Scramble Over Guns Sighting in Kent
Kent Police launched a dramatic armed operation tonight after reports of two men seen carrying guns in Clifton Gardens.
Armed Officers Hunt Suspects
Just after 8pm on Wednesday, armed officers stormed the area, supported by a National Air Support helicopter.
Two Authorised Firearms Officers were spotted searching the streets. One suspect was detained while the other managed to escape.
