Masked Thief Strikes Leybourne Restaurant in Early Morning Raid
Detectives are hunting a brazen robber who stormed a Leybourne restaurant at dawn and made off with cash.
The incident happened at around 6.30am on Monday 7 October 2019 at premises on Castle Way. Police say a man forced entry into the office and grabbed a stash of money.
Staff Attacked in Daring Heist
The thug didn’t stop there. He allegedly assaulted two staff members before fleeing the scene.
Witnesses describe the suspect as around 6ft tall, wearing a full balaclava, padded jacket, and ski gloves. He was also seen carrying a bag to haul the loot.
Investigation Underway – Police Seek Witnesses
Officers have launched a full investigation including forensic sweeps and CCTV reviews.
