Two Arrested After Knife Threat and Robbery in Folkestone

Police are hunting for witnesses after two suspects were arrested over a terrifying robbery in Folkestone.

Knifepoint Threat on Beachborough Road

On Saturday, 1 February 2025 at around 10pm, a man walking along Beachborough Road was threatened at knifepoint by occupants of a white car that had stopped. The suspects stole the victim’s mobile phone and used it to transfer money from his bank account. Police confirm the victim and suspects know each other.

Arrests Made – Teenagers in Custody

  • 18-year-old man from Folkestone
  • 17-year-old boy from Hythe

Both were arrested on Monday, 3 February and remain in police custody as investigations continue.

Police Urge Witnesses to Speak Up

Detectives want anyone who saw the incident or has info on the white car or robbery to get in touch.
