Arson Rampage in Gosport: Police Car and Four Other Vehicles Torched
A police car and four private vehicles were set ablaze in a shocking arson spree in Gosport on Sunday night, October 9, 2016.
Police Car Ignited Near Site of Fatal Dispute
The police vehicle erupted in flames just after 10pm on Foster Road, right on the town’s one-way system. This spot is chillingly close to where pensioner Roy Galvin, 69, was fatally involved in a dispute with a cyclist last month.
Fire crews from Gosport rushed to the scene, dousing the burning car with a high-pressure hose reel.
