Blaze on Dartford Heath Sparks Major Fire Response
Kent Fire and Rescue Service raced to tackle a grass fire near Shepherds Lane on Dartford Heath.
Massive Effort to Douse the Flames
Eight fire engines and two all-terrain vehicles swarmed the scene. Crews battled the fire using hose reel jets, main jets, and beaters. They worked quickly to snuff out the flames and combed the area for lingering hot spots.
Suspicious Start: Police Investigate Arson
No injuries were reported, but Kent Police have launched an investigation amid suspicions the fire was started deliberately.
