Teen Thwarted in Whitstable Mobile Phone Snatch Attempt – Police Hunt Suspect!
Brave Boy Fights Off Robbery
Just before 8am on Wednesday 6 November 2019, a teenage boy was walking through an alleyway in Sand End, Whitstable, when a man lunged at him, trying to snatch his mobile phone. The boy held tight and refused to let go, forcing the thief to shove him into a bush before fleeing empty-handed towards nearby basketball courts.
Suspect on the Loose
The victim escaped unhurt. The attacker is described as a white male, aged 20-30, medium build, sporting a short brown beard. He wore a light grey hoodie, tracksuit bottoms, black gloves and trainers.
Police Urge Public to Speak Up
