Morning Mayhem: Stabbing and Fall Rock SE18 Neighbourhood
Just before 7.50am on Sunday, December 11, police rushed to Barnfield Gardens, SE18, after reports of a fight and a man with stab wounds.
A 28-year-old victim was swiftly taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries by police and London Ambulance Service crews.
Second Man Falls From Window During Police Raid
Moments later, officers were called to a property on Plumstead Common Road where a second injured man was reported.
Police tried to engage with the man inside before forcing entry. Shortly after, the 31-year-old is believed to have fallen from a window.
He was hospitalised with injuries not thought to be life-threatening and was later arrested on suspicion of causing great bodily harm.
Road Closures and Investigations Underway
Both Plumstead Common Road and Bloomfield Road remain closed as officers continue their probe into the violent incident.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson confirmed the case has also been referred to the Met’s Directorate of Professional Standards.
