Police were scrambled just after 10:15am on Wednesday after reports of a body found at the bottom of the cliffs by Brighton Marina’s Asda store.

Witnesses Spot Police Rush to Scene

An eyewitness told Sussex News they saw a police car zooming along the cliff top with blue lights flashing. Two officers were spotted peering over the fence near the undercliff walk, while multiple emergency units headed straight for the marina area.

Police Appeal for Information

A spokesperson for 1 said: “Emergency services were called after a man was found at the bottom of the cliffs near Brighton Marina shortly after 10.15am on November 16.”

“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances. Anyone with information is urged to contact police online or via 101 quoting serial 397 of 16/11.”
