The Night Safety Marshals were back last weekend, proving once again that their Friday and Saturday night patrols are absolutely vital and making a real impact.
Helping the Vulnerable on the Streets
On duty, the marshals chatted with scores of locals, offering support and advice to those in need. They directly rescued 6 vulnerable women and 7 men, guiding them to safety.
Dealing with Emergencies and ASB
The team also tackled a rowdy anti-social behaviour incident, helped rush a man to hospital during a medical emergency, and safely disposed of a dangerous NOS canister.
Police Praise the Night Marshals
Brighton and Hove police said, “We want to thank them for their continued support. The incidents they handle free up our time to respond to other emergencies.”
