£2,000 Reward for Info on Isle of Wight Assault Suspect

Crimestoppers have slammed a £2,000 reward on the table for anyone who can help nail Henry Thomas Henderson. The 51-year-old is wanted over a brutal assault in Ryde back in 2016.

Attack Details

The violent incident happened late on Tuesday, 22 November 2016, between 11:30pm and midnight. A 51-year-old man was left battered with injuries to his face and leg. He was rushed to hospital but thankfully discharged after treatment.

Who’s Henry Henderson?

  • 51 years old
  • From Downsview, Sandown
  • White, slim build, 5ft 11in tall
  • Scottish accent
  • Short, straight dark brown hair

Henderson is believed to have fled the area shortly after the attack, heading to Wilmslow, Cheshire by February 2017. Latest intel hints he may have now skipped the UK altogether. Authorities are hunting him with a European Arrest Warrant.

Crimestoppers Push Reward Higher

The reward initially stood at £1,000 but has now been doubled to £2,000 to encourage fresh tips.

“This attack has shocked the Isle of Wight community and left the victim requiring hospital treatment for his injuries,” said Annabelle Goodenough, South Eastern Regional Manager at Crimestoppers.
