A 17-year-old boy is in critical condition after a brutal stabbing in Carshalton, southwest London.
Horrific Attack on Green Wrythe Lane
Emergency services raced to Green Wrythe Lane at 11:30am on Thursday, 30 January, after reports of a stabbing. Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance treated the teen at the scene before rushing him to hospital. He remains in a critical state.
Police Launch Full Investigation
The Metropolitan Police quickly sealed off part of Green Wrythe Lane to gather evidence. Although the road has since reopened, detectives are pursuing a full investigation and urge witnesses to come forward.
“Police were called at 11:30am on Thursday, 30 January to reports of a stabbing in Green Wrythe Lane, Carshalton. Officers, the London Ambulance Service, and London’s Air Ambulance attended. A 17-year-old male was found with stab injuries and taken to hospital. He remains in a critical condition. No arrests have been made. Enquiries continue.” – Met Police spokesperson
