Police hunt man over sexual assault at Canning Town Tube station
Attack in stairwell caught on CCTV
Detectives are on the lookout for a man caught on CCTV following a sexual assault at Canning Town Underground station. The shocking attack happened around 6.20pm on Wednesday, 30 July, inside a stairwell at the station.
British Transport Police appeal for info
British Transport Police (BTP) believe the man shown in the images could hold vital clues to cracking the case. A BTP spokesperson urged the public:
“If you recognise this man, or have any information that could help the investigation, please contact us as soon as possible.”
