CCTV Appeal After Indecent Behaviour in Maidstone Park

Kent Police have released a CCTV image following several reports of indecent behaviour in Maidstone’s Mote Park.

Man Follows Woman, Makes Lewd Comments

On the morning of Wednesday 24 July 2024, officers were called after a man followed a woman through Mote Park. He made inappropriate and lewd remarks before leaving the park via Deringwood Drive heading towards Mallards Way.

Two More Incidents Raise Alarm

Similar reports emerged on Friday 2 August at around 7pm and Monday 5 August at 6.30pm. Both involved a man making indecent suggestions to separate women in the area.

Police Seek Public Help to Identify Suspect

Investigators believe these incidents are linked and say the man in the released CCTV image could hold crucial information.

“Anyone who recognises the man, or has any info, should contact the West Kent appeals line on 01622 604100, quoting reference 46/125180/24,” urged Kent Police.
