Thieves Target Mum at Lockmeadow Market in Daring Purse Snatch
A brazen theft took place at Lockmeadow Market on 24 July 2021, when a distracted woman had her purse stolen from a child’s pushchair bag.
Distraction Tactic Used to Steal Purse
Between 11:30am and 11:45am, an unknown woman asked the victim to pass her something just out of reach. As the victim complied, a second woman swooped, snatching the purse from the bag on the pushchair.
Police Hunt Three Women Linked to Incident
Officers have now released images of three women connected to the case. They believe these women hold vital information and urge anyone who recognises them to get in touch.
